Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Information for the business: Personal Project
Design details: Hi,
I want to get some photoshop mock ups done to see what my kitchen would look like if I tiled the back wall. To calm any nerves, this is most definitely a photoshop project and you do not need to be an interior design expert to do it :).
Attached is the image of my kitchen along with one that i've added reference numbers to for ease of explanation.
What I want to do is see how a number of different options of tiling my kitchen would look. the tiles that I plan to use are - http://www.stonetrader.co.uk/bathroom-tiles/627-metro-light-grey-wall-tile-10x20cm.html?gclid=CLO_oPTQnskCFYgKwwodMkQL0g
I plan to use white grouting with the tiles, just like in the picture on that website.
What I'd like you to do is photoshop them in to the kitchen in 3 different ways so that me and my girlfriend can decide which we like best. the picture 'kitchen' is the base picture to work from, picture 'Kitchen Notes' is the version with reference numbers below.
The 3 different designs i'd like to try:
1) leave the current skirting (ref 1) and splash back (ref 2) as is and lay the tile all the way along the back wall up to the line (ref 3)
2) remove the current skirting (ref 1), increase the length of the splashback so that it goes all the way to the work top (ref 2) and lay the tiles from the back of the worktop all the way to the red line (ref 3)
3) As per number 2 but replace the splashback (ref 2) with the tiles.
To help you with getting the relative sizes correct the splashback (ref 2) is 70 cm wide by 60 cm long.
Let me know if that makes sense and if that's something you'd be able to help me with.
Thanks
Nick
