Overview:
We’re looking for a creative photo and video editor to help produce a set of engaging, realistic, and community-focused social ad assets for a long-standing village barbershop.
The shop has served the community for over 15 years and is now expanding its appeal to women, families, and younger style-conscious audiences.
You will edit a combination of shop photography and video footage (captured on site) with royalty-free stock imagery/video that represents the target customers. The goal is to create authentic yet aspirational content suitable for Meta (Facebook & Instagram) and TikTok placements — both posts and stories.
Deliverables:
We’d like a package that includes:
3 x short-form videos (15–20 seconds each) – optimised for TikTok and Reels
3–5 static image ads – optimised for Meta feed posts
Story versions (9:16) of the short-form videos
Each video should feel natural, clean, and locally grounded, with subtle branding and strong text overlays.

Women’s haircuts – affordable and walk-in friendly (cuts from £15.50)
Family-friendly – calm and welcoming for all ages
Sensory & first-cut friendly – gentle, patient, and experienced
Precision style cuts – modern looks for men and women

Tone: authentic, warm, community-focused, approachable, and inclusive.
Visual feel: real people, natural lighting, minimal filters, no glossy models.
Assets You’ll Receive:
High-quality photos and short video clips of the barbershop interior/exterior
Brand logo and colour references
Example captions or key messaging points
You’ll Need To:
Source realistic, royalty-free stock images or short video clips to represent different client types (women, kids, families, style-focused cuts)
Match colour grading and lighting with the provided footage
Edit together short videos with captions, transitions, and light music
Design static image ads with headline text and branding
Deliver both horizontal (1:1) and vertical (9:16) versions
Ideal Skills:
Strong photo and video editing (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar)
Proven experience creating social-first content (Meta, TikTok, Reels)
