Packaging design , Logo design ,

Hi,
We are lunching a series of food products, what we want from our Designer is to be able to create the packaging design for us, recommend what container is more suitable in technical terms and also design.

Simply our range is the best in its category, this new company is part of a Can manufacturing complex the company is introducing organic food to European market.

Number of points that I would like to make, to clear any misunderstanding during the project:

- Desighners job is to introduce and recommend different options for packaging that means what container they think is good and show numerous options in terms of design.
- Study the brief and ask questions
- We have the right to add jobs (through people per hour) any extra work will be calculated and paid.
- We have the right to council a design if is needed (not the job)
- PLEASE, do not apply for this job if you are only a LABEL designer, you have to come up with ideas for the container, as I have mentioned.
- PLEASE, do not apply for this job if you have not had any experience in packaging design.
- This is not a product desighn job but we may need boxes designed for some of our products.
- Premium luxury design is our priority for some of our product.
- We will explain are gradual approach to market, designer would understand the environment.
- This job is extremely demanding I as the producer have to answer to our board.
- Jobs definitely will be added during the project e.g. Web design , brochures , Business cards, envelopes... All jobs will go through People per hour for extra costs.

The products that need to be packed and presented are:


1. Saffron (packaging comes in different sizes 1,2,5,10,25,100,250grams and 1Kilo) you have to show in different containers, different examples of desghn; use creativity to produce the most attractive possible desighn.
2. Dates. Again same as Saffron but only in two sizes.
3. Postacios.
4. Rice.
5. Sunflower seeds and other seeds

Mini Brief

A- Audience, Target market: I will start with Saffron because is the first product that we are introducing, our saffron is the best A class filament in the world. Our targets in general are: cash and carry suppliers, ordinary people who use saffron, high-end shops Harrods…
B- Competition: Spanish saffron, and Persian saffron, is aim is to have an outstanding design to eliminate our competition.
C- Our Image portray- in no particular order, organic, rich, modern minimal, traditional high end.
