Description
Experience Level: Expert
Estimated project duration: 1 day or less
I currently have a logo for my business and I do like some of the elements of the design but it isn't exactly putting across the impression I want the brand to make. I'm not entirely comfortable with the look of it.
I have designed the logo myself and I do have some graphic design experience and expertise but my primary skillset is development-focused as opposed to designing. As such, I'm looking for someone to take a look at my logo and give me their opinion - and possibly re-design the logo.
My business is just starting, so I'm not looking for anything incredibly expensive, I do have a budget to keep to and I'd like to keep the expenditures trimmed until the business is properly up and running.
The business itself is named for what it does - 3D Printing. The name came about by the thought about the combination of D3 (a way of referring to dice, such as a D6) and 3D. The effect makes a mirrored name and I quite enjoy that combination. My logo was meant to evoke the same sort of thing - showing off the 3D effect with a mirrored set of objects. That is my aim for this particular logo, to embody those particular aspects while incorporating what my business does.
My services are 3D printing, 3D modeling solutions to physical problems, and 3D design with an intention to 3D print the end result.
I'm looking for somebody who can successfully embody those aspects of my business, I don't mind if the end result is similar to my design but with improvements and would prefer it that way but I am also open to new designs which may be better than my own.
