Background/context:
We use many communication channels, including email, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, lock screen wallpapers and our company intranet. Without a shared understanding of how these channels should be used, information can become fragmented, duplicated or difficult to find, leading to missed messages and inconsistent communication.
Purpose of the design work:
The purpose of the handbook and separate decision tree graphic is to create a clear, structured, user-friendly visual guide that identifies our internal communication channels, as well as how our colleagues should use them effectively. This should reduce confusion and help our colleagues choose the right channel and use it in the most effective way.
