Description
Experience Level: Entry
Estimated project duration: less than 1 week
I want a single page flyer.
The flyer is in regards to Beekeeping.
I'm looking for people / locations that would be interested in hosting beehives on their site.
I don't have specific wording at this time. Below are some examples. I'm open to suggestions. I expect some back and forth on the design and layout to get a nice presentable layout.
Samples of websites (maybe use similar language on the flyer). Obviously, these can't be copied, but used as examples of something similar.

Potential talking points:
Hosting Requirements
Do you have space to devote to 2+ hives? We recommend a minimum of a 6x12 foot area low daily pedestrian traffic. The hives will take up roughly 2x2 feet each (plus space for the beekeeper to work), and give the bees a 10 foot "runway" in front of the hives to reach cruising altitude above people's heads. If you don't quite have that space, there are ways to reduce the space in front of the hive and still get the bees flying above head level if necessary.
Location get at least half day sun? Honey bees like as much heat/sun as they can get, because it allows them to start foraging earlier, and stay out later. Sunlight and heat also help prevent diseases. Less than half-day sun isn't a total deal breaker, but the more sun we can get the bees, the better it is for everyone.
Is the location easily accessible without having to pass through any building, and in all seasons? Beehives take regular maintenance and we want to be able to service them without disturbing you or your family.
Are you or any of your family known to be allergic? Honey bees don’t like to sting, and severe honey bee allergies are actually relatively rare (normal localized swelling around the site of a sting is not an allergy). Still, if you or your family are allergic to honey bees, you are probably not a good candidate for being a hive host unless you have a very large property where the bees can be placed in a completely unused area.
We ask for all hive hosts to make a one year commitment to hosting, with the understanding that circumstances (e.g. allergic reaction, neighbor relations, etc.) may require the removal of the bees from the host site prior to the end of the year.
We, as communities in rural, suburban or urban areas need to take on the task to keep honey bees around us and provide an inhabitable environment for honey bees. We need more stationary bee hives in our diverse, less polluted rural, suburban or even urban environment.
If you have a location that you think could have anywhere from two to 10 or more colonies on it we may be interested in placing bee hives on your property. There are some determining factors such as being easy to get to, away from human activity and disturbance, near plenty of nectar producing trees and flowers and have the proper weather exposure.
The beekeepers will perform all management services, provide all equipment and bees to make the hive complete. All costs of feed, mite treatments, queens, and replacement bees when needed are taken care of by us.
We visit the hives and take action for swarm prevention, disease management, supplemental feeding, and adding or removing equipment as needed to accommodate the honey flow and seasons. This includes the removal of excess or surplus honey.
The logo file is a pdf of my company logo. I have a .ai file version also for higher resolution.
