Design a logo for engineering company.

We are an engineering start up called "Heritage Technology". We are professional mechanical engineers who reverse engineer, design and produce components for classic and historic motor vehicles. We also act as consultants for other engineering firms, usually as designers.

The logo needs to be simple, such that we can import it into CAD (to emboss onto manufactured components such as castings, for example). Of course we will also be using it on our website (not yet created) and also in email signatures etc. If the logo is stencill-able that is ideal, or if it can be simply modified to be stencilled that would be acceptable. Sometimes we make components which are laser cut from sheet material (hence the requirement).

Our logo needs to include the words "Heritage Technology", using a suitable font (something similar to Microsquare perhaps - must be free), and some graphic element(s) related to our activities. We require black and white only ideally.

Deliverable is a logo of course, but also a native gimp file so I can edit it myself in the future.

The price I have specified is a maximum budget - so far every single proposal has been the maximum budget. Sensible proposal below that maximum budget are welcome!
