Amendments and updates to indd file

I have an indesign file of a document that I need updating.
It is a participant manual for a seminar to be printed in B&W.
The task involves deleting pages, adding pages and re-ordering pages with an up-to-date table of contents.

Once it is all done I need the amended indd file so we have available for future use updates.
I need this work to be completed using indesign not a PDF editor software.
