Formatting a Word Document

I need a graphic designer or someone expert in the use of Word 2007 for what I hope is a relatively simple job, namely, to add a little formatting to a book I have written currently in Word 2007 and about 280 pages, and to prepare it as a PDF suitable for submission to a printer. So far as I am aware, this will only entail regularising the page numbering (which I am finding difficult) and making sure that the fonts are embedded in the transfer to the PDF.
