Video Games Museum - Original non-copyrighted artwork

We are looking for a graphic designer / illustrator to create original, non-copyrighted artwork for the Video Games Museum.

The artwork will be used across different museum merchandise and printed materials, including:

T-shirts
Postcards
Greeting cards
Posters
Stickers
Other museum gift shop items

Important:
We are not looking for fan art, copies, parodies, or designs based on copyrighted characters, logos, consoles, game covers, or existing intellectual property from video game companies. We need fully original artwork inspired by the culture, nostalgia, history and aesthetics of video games, but created from scratch and safe for commercial use.

What we need
We want a designer who can develop creative visual concepts around themes such as:

retro gaming culture
arcade atmosphere
pixel art aesthetics
gaming history
museum / exhibition identity
playful and nostalgic visuals
original characters, icons, scenes or compositions related to video games

The style can range from retro, pixel-inspired and bold, to more modern and minimal, depending on the concept.

Deliverables
We would like final files suitable for professional printing and merchandising, such as:

editable source files (AI / PSD / EPS)
print-ready files
high-resolution PNGs with transparent background where needed
versions adapted for dark and light backgrounds if applicable

Requirements

you can create 100% original artwork
the work is fully safe for commercial use
you are willing to transfer full commercial usage rights
you have experience with merchandise or apparel design
you can share relevant portfolio examples

Nice to have

experience with museum, cultural or lifestyle brands
understanding of retro gaming visual language
ability to create a small collection / series, not just one design
