I am looking for an experienced fabric sourcer

Hi!

I am looking for someone who has experience sourcing fabrics. I am starting a clothing line and need support locating the fabrics, whether it be silks, cotton, ponte, velvet etc.

I imagine it would go something like this: I have a pattern designer who advises me on the kind of fabric I need for each piece. I then come to you with that information and you source suitable samples based on the my cost, color, quantity etc. criteria. We would go back and forth until we find the right material.

I would then manage making the order of the fabric.

Ideally this person will have experience in the apparel / fashion / design / fabrics industry and will have a good directory of wholesalers, websites, fabric manufactures to go to.

Open to payment suggestions for this. It could be that I pay a fixed price to source the fabric per project, or that I pay hourly.
