Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role as a Clothing Technologist located in London Area, United Kingdom. The Clothing Technologist will work to ensure the quality and fit of the garments produced, liaising with suppliers and internal teams to develop quality standards. They will be responsible for the fit and function of garments, measuring and reviewing samples using appropriate equipment, and managing testing protocols. Additionally, the Clothing Technologist will provide support to teams on technical processes, as well as research and implement new technology and production methods.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Clothing or Textile Technology, or equivalent practical experience
Experience in clothing manufacturing process, pattern cutting and grading, garment fitting and alteration, and quality control measures
Knowledge of international sizing standards and grading techniques
Familiarity with CAD software and ability to create technical drawings
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and suppliers
Experience with sustainable or eco-friendly clothing production is a plus
