Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Create a creative corporate polo t-shirt.
I will be providing you with following:
1. Logo vector file
2. Slogan text
3. Illustration
4. Company colors pattern
Task: deliver two designs
A) Simple one color: Navy polo tshirt (one color) with logo and slogan
B) Multiple colors: Inject company colors and illustration
GUIDELINES FOR SUBMITTING ARTWORK
1. All artwork should be in vector format only. We prefer Adobe Illustrator (CS6 or lower).
2. Raster/Bitmap files will be accepted if they are 300dpi or higher. Saving the JPEG in an Illustrator file will not work.
3. Low-res Web Graphics are not accepted.
4. All fonts should be converted to outlines.
5. For color matching, we need pantone numbers for all colors.
HOW TO CONVERT TEXT TO OUTLINE IN ILLUSTRATOR
1. Select the text you want to convert using the black arrow in your toolbar (hold “ctrl” to get the black or white arrow when on a PC)
2. In Illustrator, go to TYPE and choose “Create Outlines” from the drop down menu (ctrl + shift + O).
VECTOR VS. RASTER/BITMAP
•Vector: The artwork can be broken down into it’s individual parts; which can then be edited or colored. Artwork retains it’s smooth shape.
•Common Vector formats: .ai .eps .pdf
•Raster/Bitmap: The image can only be selected as a whole; cannot be edited or colored. Artwork pixelates and becomes “boxy.”
•Common Bitmap formats: .bmp .gif .jpg .tif .psd
