Drawing / cartoon for clothing brand

This is the creation of a character similar to the famous comic character Andy Capp

We are looking for the creation of a character similar to Capp in looks to front a new clothing style based around the football casual culture scene with this character being used on clothing with the idea to portray this character in many different football environments the modern football fan witnesses.

The idea is not to copy Capp at all, just to use the basic structures, shape and style of this stance and how clothes are worn to give a base to then go on to apply our own casual attrire and re work the face completely. However this character has always been a good base to initially point people in the direction of what we want. The simplicity and charm of the look is what we are after, we love the fact it’s simple yet the features make it almost lovable and also very recognisesble. We would want someone with the creativity and the skill to bring out such traits in their own character from which we would require further work from as this character would be used for many designs.

The clothing should be easy to follow from the associated document with the face being something we are very happy to keep in regular contact with to help achieve our goals as there are elements that will need discussion, eg the type of hat worn.
