Concept drawings - Children's story / video game

Design details: I have been working on a children's story that will be developed into a book and potentially a follow up video game.

We are in the early stages of production but need some preliminary drawings to accompany a manuscript and help develop the story. This has the potential to develop into a full set of images for a book but at this stage we do not need high detail drawings.

The story is of a young squid journeying to save his friend.

"Squid 2" is captured in a fishing net by pirates. The captain of a pirate ship (turned sushi chef) lost a leg in a battle with the Kraken and has vowed revenge. He is hellbent on capturing the Kraken and all other squid - turning them to sushi for him and his crew. "They took his leg so he will take theirs."

"Squid 1" must travel to where the ship makes berth to find his/her friend and save them from the pirates.

Throughout the journey he/she will learn new skills like being able to camouflage him/herself (as squid skin can react to the environment), Glow in the dark (by eating bioluminescent algae) and squeezing into very tight spaces (including shells).

The art style is ideally a slight mix of Disney and Japanese Anime (Disney meets Digimon, so to speak).
