Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: 3 month Contract period with potential of permanent placement depending on performance
The person is required to provide mechanical design engineering and creative skills using Pro/Engineer. Update engineering drawings, maintain the Windchill PDM work-space and utilise engineering change systems whilst working ‘on-site’ in a customer facing role. You will be able to integrate effectively with our client teams by employing flexible and focused working methods.
As a professional you will be an appropriately qualified individual with a minimum of two and years experience in a product design, product development, manufacturing or an engineering environment. You will have a solid and practical set of engineering and creative skills linked to a good working knowledge of CAD and CAE with specific experience of Pro/Engineer, (Autodesk Inventor and Solidworks experience would also be an advantage). You will be comfortable in a customer facing role on-site as Sanstec Design integrate effectively with an established project team. You will be required to present a smart and professional appearance as a representative of the company at all times and at all levels.
Personally - you will be a highly committed, loyal and conscientious individual, who prides themselves on thoroughness, commitment to task and who has the tenacity to see the objectives completed, whilst keeping on an open mind as to a better way to proceed. Self motivated, organised and disciplined you will be able to set your goals and objectives to enable you to work in isolation for periods of time but be confident in understanding that you have the support of the business leaders. You will of course have a sense of humour, which you will need to rely on in many situations.
Hours required to work, would be a normal working week of 40 hours.
Position is based at our customers site with some requirements from our Head Office in Colchester, Essex.
If you feel you have the above mentioned requirements, please forward me you CV for review to jobs@sanstecdesign.co.uk & also advise on your availability.
Many thanks
