Technical drawings

I’m an interior designer looking for freelance 2D CAD drawing support across a range of residential and commercial interior projects in the UK

I will lead the design, concept and overall design direction but I’m looking for someone to produce my GA drawings, from sketches and design information and develop these into clear, professional drawing packages for clients

Typical support would include:

- Developing and updating General Arrangement drawings
- Producing detailed joinery drawing packages for design intent, pricing and manufacture coordination
- Internal elevations and detailed elevations as required
- Electrical layouts
- Lighting layouts
- Reflected ceiling plans where required
- Dimensioned plans and setting\-out information
- Developing drawings following my mark\-ups, sketches and design direction
- Revising drawing packages as projects develop

The role is primarily about technical drawing production rather than design ownership. I would provide the design direction and work closely with the person producing the drawings.

I’m looking for someone with good experience in interior architecture interior design drawings, who understands how residential and commercial interiors are put together and can produce accurate, well presented information suitable for client approval, contractor pricing and construction/design intent.

Ideally, I’d like to develop an ongoing working relationship with someone who can provide support across projects as and when required.
