Seeking an experienced and highly detail-oriented CAD drafter and renderer for ongoing freelance assignments, paid at an hourly rate.

Many assignments will require same-day or very fast turnaround, so responsiveness and availability are essential. Please do not apply unless you can regularly accommodate urgent work and communicate clearly about turnaround times. Some assignments are small requiring an hour others may be more involved.

Typical assignments may include:

* Creating and editing floor plans and elevations
* Converting PDFs into AutoCAD drawings
* Creating CAD drawings of furniture and lighting from photographs and dimensions
* Adding furniture to floor plans
* Adding furniture, lighting, and other objects to elevations
* Creating rendered floor plans and elevations
* Revising existing drawings

Accuracy and attention to detail are extremely important. The work should not simply be completed as quickly as possible. Every assignment must be carefully double-checked against the measurements and information provided.

When furniture, lighting, or other objects are added to a plan or elevation, particular attention must be paid to:

* Correct measurements and scale
* Precise position and placement
* Proportion and alignment
* Following all instructions closely
* Carefully checking the completed work before submission

The ideal person will be diligent, responsive, accurate, and able to follow directions without overlooking details. If anything is unclear or missing, questions should be asked before proceeding rather than making assumptions.

If the first few assignments go well, ongoing work will likely be available at least once or twice a week.
