Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: less than 1 week
Design details: This job is in two stages:
STAGE 1:
The freelancer will take the existing file which will be provided in Revit format as well as a dwg file. The revit file will need to be modified to the new dwg plan paying attention to detail. A custom kitchen will need to be made according to the DWG. Attention to detail is critical.
Once the revit file is completed the freelancer will need to complete stage 2
Stage 2
The freelancer will convert the file over to a 3ds max 2012 format and ensure that all geometry is properly converted into the program. The freelancer will ensure that ALL ELEMENTS within the project are set up for texturing (you will not have to texture the project. The default grey is ok). However, you will need to ensure that there are no gaps within the geometry and that there are no hidden vertex, polygons, etc.
Delivery is to be in 3ds max 2012 compatible format. The file must be able to be opened prior to being paid.
You will also need to sign a non-competitive form and an NDA prior to starting the job
To apply for this job please indicate:
Experience in years
Samples of your modeling skills with a focus on interior spaces
How long you have been using Revit and 3ds Max
Briefly explain the difference between box modeling and nurbs modeling so I know you know how to use 3ds max
Briefly explain what an adaptive component is so I know you understand Revit
What you will get from me:
1. Respect from a freelancer that has over 15+ years experience. This means that I will not talk to you as a novice freelancer.
2. A dwg file showing the new floorplan.
3. The existing Revit file.
You will need to:
1. Open the existing dwg
2. convert the first floor to be in line with the dwg
3. Convert the Revit file to 3ds max 2012 standards
4. Ensure that the 3ds max file is ready for texturing and lighting
5. provide me with the fixed revit and 3ds max file
As the majority of the work has been done, the bids should be low. I am not looking for the lowest bid but for the most reasonable bid for the work to be done from the most professional freelancer.
NO THIRD PARTY CONTRACTORS!! I WILL ONLY WORK WITH A FREELANCER DIRECTLY
YOU MUST PROVIDE SAMPLES AND SIGN THE FORMS TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS JOB. I will put 1/2 of the funds into escrow and release upon the completion of stage one. The second half will be released upon finishing the project.
Ideas for the visual style: Professional and in line with Revit and 3ds max architectural modeling standards
Things to avoid: Don't drop this into a dwg convertor and expect to get paid. The job must be done professionally. As I am a drafter I will be examining the model to ensure that the elements are modeled and not just dumped into the program. Must be modeled out.
Extra notes:
Turn around time is to be by Thursday MAX
Thank you for your time and happy bidding.
