Custom Stainless Steel Puzzle Plate Fabrication

The puzzle consists of two matching stainless steel plates, each measuring 6" x 6". The second plate overlays the first plate to reveal selected images through cutout openings.

Plate 1 – Data Plate

Specifications:

* Material: Durable stainless steel
* Size: 6" x 6"
* Finish: Clean, professional, suitable for engraving
* Include a 7 x 7 etched grid (49 total cells)

* Grid should resemble a spreadsheet or Excel-style layout
* Grid lines must be clearly visible and precisely aligned
* Each cell must be large enough to allow the customer to engrave one cartoon-style image/photo in each square
* Total capacity: 49 engraved cartoon images, one per cell
* A small company logo will be supplied and must be engraved in the upper-left corner
* Include one alignment hole in the upper-right corner:

* Diameter: 1/16"
* Used to align with the Cutout Plate

Plate 2 – Cutout Plate

Specifications:

* Material: Same stainless steel as the Data Plate
* Size: 6" x 6"
* Must align exactly with the Data Plate
* Include the same 7 x 7 etched grid layout
* Include the same company logo in the upper-left corner
* Include the same 1/16" alignment hole in the upper-right corner
* Randomly remove selected grid cells so that when this plate is placed over the Data Plate, the customer can see certain engraved cartoon images through the openings

#Cutout Requirements

* Standard version: 24 cutout cells
* Possible beginner version: 12 cutout cells
* The 24-cell cutout pattern must appear random
* Every Cutout Plate produced must be unique
* No two Cutout Plates may have the same cutout pattern
* The manufacturer must be able to track and ensure that all generated patterns are different from one another

# Manufacturing Requirements

The selected manufacturer should be able to:

* Produce precise, repeatable 6" x 6" stainless steel plates
* Laser etch the 7 x 7 grid and logo cleanly
* CNC cut or laser cut the selected cell openings accurately
* Maintain perfect alignment between the Data Plate and Cutout Plate
* Create and manage a large number of unique cutout configurations
* Recommend appropriate stainless steel thickness for durability while remaining easy to handle
* Package each customer set as:

* 1 Data Plate
* 1 Matching Cutout Plate
* Optional game instructions
