We are seeking a talented and innovative CAD Designer to create a slick, aesthetically pleasing rim for our digital gaming wheel. Our goal is to enhance the visual appeal of our existing 2.4-meter diameter metal wheel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design a stylish and modern rim using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software that seamlessly attaches to our existing gaming wheel.
- Ensure that the CAD design is optimized for 3D printing, considering the limitations of our 3D printer (maximum print area: 12.3 x 13.8 x 13 inches).
- The final product should reflect a sleek, modern aesthetic, elevating the overall look of the gaming wheel.
- Material for 3D printing is Black PLA so the design should complement this material, But we are willing to take suggestions..
Requirements:
- Proven expertise in CAD, particularly with designs intended for 3D printing.
- Portfolio showcasing previous CAD projects, especially those involving product enhancements or industrial design.
- Ability to work within the specified dimensions and material constraints.
- Strong aesthetic sense, particularly in creating sleek, modern designs.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with our product team.
Additional information:
3D files of the existing wheel will be made available to the selected candidate after an offer is accepted.

Tell me this, is the end goal a purely aesthetic look enhancement or do want any mechanisms involved that work with the spin of the wheel, kinetic artwork is a good example of what I mean, or something similar to spinning car wheel rims.
