Experience Level: Expert
I have two large scan stl files that need to be converted to editable solid step files. Please submit your proposals by Friday September 13th by 8 A.M CST USA. The deadline will be 7 days , so the project must be completed by the following Friday. But the sooner the better as in most cases. This is not a project were you can simply lower the face count of a mesh then convert a mesh to t-spline then to be brep. That quality of work will not be accepted. This for modeling from the ground up.
That being said if the partnership works out, I will have more projects in the future.
Once l've chosen the candidate, I will drop box the scanned stl files over immediately.

EDIT: Please do not send a proposal if you do not have experience in the field. This project requires a moderate to high skill level in 3D design/rendering. If you only have experience with design( I.E graphics/architectural/Illustration/print/Etc). Your proposal will automatically be decline. Must have experience using cad software like solidworks/Inventor/Fusion360/ETC.

If you do not haven any previous 3d modeling examples in your portfolio or unable to send me at least 3 examples of work
your proposal will automatically be decline.

The budget is fixed at this price. Proposal with higher bids will be automatically declined.

    No, the file will only be shared with the chosen candidate. I made it this way as a characteristic test.
    1. I am looking for a designer who is confident in their skill set. They should be able convert any file no matter what is given sight unseen. Or with a 2d sketch or drawing. If any designers cannot do this please do not apply.
    2. The time line and price is fixed. No negotiations. I’ve already had designers messaging saying how can they give an accurate quote for price and time without seeing it or proposing higher quotes. Those I have decline automatically. I would not give anyone a task I could not do my self. That being said, 7 days to do file conversions is more than enough time. They are solid objects with no moving parts or complex shapes.
    3. I am looking for multi designers to work with long term. I own my own company and I have heavy work load. Finding good reliable people who can follow instructions, meet deadlines and help with smaller issue like conversion and simple design work is my ultimate goal. So think of it as a job interview. If any designers think my demands are unreasonable or to demanding please do not submit your proposal.
