Chartered - Civil Structural Engineer - Screw Pile Design

We are hopefully working on a project.

The GA is attached, which have modelled to get pile loads about 130kN SLS and 2kN horizontal force per pile.

We envisaged using a 73x6mm tube but unsure if this will work due to buckling etc.

I have attached the SI report for your reference.

Note we can add extensions with helix 14" if required, I am awaiting a start date which I should get tomorrow so if that the case we can order in a larger diameter tube.

The water table is high and they want a 60 year design life demonstrated, and with no helix in the top 3m.

The SPTs are ok from 4-6m where if we can get away with a 6m pile that would be ideal, but there is not much between 8-12m so hopefully we don’t need to go that deep, your advise would be much appreciated.
