Project Overview
We are developing an innovative bin bag with a liquid-absorbing liner, designed to trap and contain moisture, reducing leaks, spills, and odours. This product will differentiate itself from standard bin bags by offering a built-in absorbent layer, making it ideal for households, commercial kitchens, healthcare, and industrial applications where liquid waste is common.

• Multi-layer construction:
• Outer Layer – Tear-resistant, leakproof plastic (biodegradable or recycled options available).
• Inner Liner – Absorbent material capable of soaking up liquids, grease, and spills.
• Sealed base – Reinforced to prevent leakage and sagging.
• Designed for high-capacity and heavy-duty use.
2. Absorbent Liner Technology
• Liner made from super-absorbent polymer (SAP) material or plant-based absorbent fibres.
• Capable of absorbing up to X millilitres per bag (to be determined based on testing).

3. Closure & Sealing Mechanism
• Drawstring closure for easy tying and transport.
• Alternative options: tie-handle or self-sealing flap for secure containment.
• Potential for odour-neutralising technology integrated into the closure area.

• Standard (20–30L) – Ideal for home use.
• Large (50–80L) – Suitable for commercial and industrial settings.
