Description
Experience Level: Expert
We have two building models that were created in Sketchup that we need converting to Revit models. The Revit models must be made up of individual building elements in Revit. We have Revit files where the models appear as a single object, however we need to be able to select each element individually (e.g. walls, floors, roof, windows, doors, balconies) to attach information to it. The Sketchup models were built from 3D scanned point clouds. We will supply the (single object) Revit models, point clouds and floorplans to create the new models from. We also have 3DS files of the internal areas for both models.
The buildings:
1. A large residential block containing ~170 individual dwellings. The building sits around a courtyard and has varying height between 4 and 7 floors. Only the external surfaces and the communal areas were scanned, both external and inernal communal areas need to be included in the model.
2. Four residential 1 and 2 bedroom flats within a block and the communal area between them.
What we want from the models:
• Simple clean Revit model with walls, roofs, floors, windows, doors, balconies added as separate elements.
• An attractive model that can be viewed in a Revit compatible viewer. Some simple texturing of walls.
• Dimensions the same as the Sketchup model (or point cloud).
