Design details: Scope of Project:
I would like you to edit the existing Indesign files that I will provide and have attached to produce a Pdf version of my resumes. There are 3 Indesign files that you need to edit, and all you need to do will be to edit the text and make a few changes to the arrangement of the text, and add new text where applicable. Look at the word doc - New Pdf Resume Project – Instructions – 7 July 2014.docx – For all the instructions; it’s attached to this Project brief. From this, you will then create 3 interactive Pdf resumes, all with the same layout and design just different text. I will also provide you with a sample of what the final files should look like. These are just guides to show you how it should display. Please note that these are Interactive Pdfs with roll overs, buttons etc.
I will provide the following:
• All InDesign files that will be needed
• All Text for each and every page that needs to be changed
• Clear instructions for each and every page
The final Product you will create will be:
1. An Edited Interactive Indesign file, for all the pages that are requested
2. 3 Pdf Resumes / CV's from the Indesign files that are already created - Each will have different text, but the same layout and design.
3. It must be interactive – it must have buttons and roll over effects on these buttons – these buttons must then jump to certain pages in the final Pd file when clicked on, and be in CMYK format, so that anyone who wants to can print it easily.
This is already in the Indesign file, so you will not need to add it in, but you must know how to create this, as I have other Projects that will require this.
4. From this Indesign file, you will then export to Pdf. Optimise the file size of this Pdf to be as small as possible without losing any image quality, you can do this by auditing the space usage and optimising from there.
Applicant Requirements:
Applicants must know how to do the above-mentioned tasks, especially, the ability to create buttons, roll overs, and links to other pages in a pdf document. If you do not know how to do this, please do not apply!
Application Procedure:
• Where possible, applicants must submit an interactive pdf that they have done with roll over effects etc, as I will need to see if you have the experience to complete this Project.
• This Project will be open for Applications for 7 days, at the end of this time; I will short list candidates. They will then be sent a link to a Google Drive folder. This folder will contain Instructions, for the entire Project, as well as text, Jpeg and Illustrator files, so that candidates can see the design and lay out and what exactly needs to be done.
If you have not been shortlisted, I apologise in advance, as I will not be able to get back to you, to let you know that you have been unsuccessful. I thank you, in advance, for applying for this Project, and I look forward to hearing from (and hopefully) working with you.
