UK-Based Amazon KDP Specialist to Publish Workbook

We are the Youth Mental Health Foundation, a small UK-based non-profit founded and staffed by parents with lived experience of supporting our own young people through mental health struggles. Our purpose is to ensure no family has to walk that painful road alone.

This project involves publishing a printed workbook that accompanies our Power2Parent course. This programme equips parents with practical tools, strategies, and support to guide their children through deep emotional pain. The workbook is a huge, indispensable part of the support we deliver, and we need it available in print across the UK and internationally so families can have this tangible resource in their hands.

All core design and written assets have been produced by one of us. We believe the files are compliant with Amazon's specifications, but because our background is in parent support rather than commercial publishing, we need a knowledgeable UK-based specialist to audit our files, highlight any layout tweaks needed, and manage the technical upload cleanly.

Provided Assets (Ready to Hand Over):
Interior File: High-resolution, print-ready PDF designed in-house with illustrations across every page (standard non-fiction, not low-content).

Cover File: Print-ready, full-wrap cover PDF (Back + Spine + Front) designed to KDP template specifications.

Metadata Pack: You'll help us understand what we need to supply you with e.g. Finalised Title, Subtitle, Author/Organisation details, rich-text HTML description, targeted search keywords, and relevant categories.

Scope of Work:
Compliance Review & Feedback: Audit our interior and cover files against Amazon KDP's strict print requirements. If the Print Previewer or your initial review flags any bleed, spine width, text-clipping, or margin issues, clearly explain the adjustments needed so our team member can quickly amend the files and re-export a clean PDF.

Listing & Metadata Setup: Input all book details, description, backend search phrases, and appropriate categories into our Amazon KDP account.

ISBN Setup: Assign Amazon’s free KDP ISBN and log the reference number.

File Upload & Visual Validation: Upload the final interior and cover files, run the Print Previewer, and ensure every single page passes validation with zero errors.

Distribution & Pricing: Set the UK base price, round key international currencies cleanly (US, CA, AU), and enable Expanded Distribution so community organisations, schools, and libraries can access copies.

Submission & Live Verification: Submit the workbook for publication and monitor until the status officially updates to "Live".

Requirements:
Must be based in the United Kingdom.

Proven, hands-on experience publishing illustrated non-fiction paperbacks on Amazon KDP, with an eye for spotting print-bleed, margin, and trim discrepancies.

Clear, patient, and constructive communication to advise our team if layout revisions are required.
