Book Cover Design - Le trésor de Grand Ilet

We are looking for a designer to create a book cover, including both the front and back covers. Here are the details:

Front Cover:
• Title: "Le trésor de Grand Ilet"
• Image: A vintage caravel ship (photo, image, or drawing)
• Background: Options can include wood imitation (to evoke the ship), leather imitation (to evoke an old book), or parchment. Alternatively, consider using a border or frame in wood or leather with the rest of the background in cream or white.
• Text: The title should be in gold letters if they stand out against the background. If it doesn’t work please consider black.
• Colors: Preferred colors are black, sand/cream/beige and coral for the overall look and feel of the book.
• Font: The font should evoke an old book or a pirate treasure map font.

Back Cover:
• Include the book summary (text will be provided).
• Insert a photo (which will be sent).
• Maintain the same background and font style as the front cover. This need to be a nice continuation.
Requirements:
• We would like to see at least 4 different models before selecting one. With up to 4 back and Forth rounds of updates.
• Deadline: The complete project should be finished within 2 weeks, with an initial proposal by this weekend.
• Important: We previously hired a graphic designer but were disappointed with the results. Therefore, we request all candidates to submit a mock-up of the front cover (low resolution with a watermark is acceptable) to showcase their style and proposal. Without this example, we will not consider the application.

• A cutter-guide and final format will be provided later. For now, we can work with PDFs.
