Book cover and book preparation to upload to Amazon.

I am working on a book which needs a book cover, front and back. The working title for the book is "Story Snacks."

My idea is to have a "person" (not sure how that works, cartoon?) sitting, holding my book in one hand, reading, with a bucket of popcorn (next to them? on their lap?), popping kernels into their mouth, but the bucket is filled with letters or words instead of popcorn, so the kernels being eaten are actually letters or words.

I would appreciate any ideas you may have based on what I've described above. Also need help with the formatting and uploading of the book to Amazon.
