You have been told about your food restrictions….a few days or weeks pass and you realise the fuller impact of the restrictions and the hidden ingredients in foods you thought you could eat.
The supermarket “free from” shelves are both undersized and filled with ingredients that do not reflect your diet or preferences including a number of processed foods.
Help is at hand - London Cuisine provides a bespoke service with only you in mind.
You tell us about your diet restrictions in as much detail.
We ask you about what you miss, what you most enjoy in flavours, regional cuisines, ingredients and we come up with some concepts.
You tell us what sits well with you from the shortlist and what you like to be included or changed.
Our chefs are kept busy preparing some food choices, menus and recipe concepts and make a proposal based on what has been agreed with you. The recipes are bespoke and designed individually for each person.
You edit or make changes if necessary to the menu options or flavours from the list of recipes and once you agree, you set a date and you attend the workshop at the school or, if you prefer, the chef can visit you.
What happens on the day.
All recipes are reviewed which is packed with valuable consumer information including selection of oils reflecting cuisine styles and application, equipment, purchasing fresh produce and where to go, what to look out for and food labelling. Supporting information within the review segment includes techniques; correct use of knives, professional pans verses domestic, etc.
The bulk of the session is hands on cooking where you recreate all the reviewed recipes. Culinary knife
and other skills and techniques will be addressed within this session too.
At the end of the workshop, you pack and take cuisine home.
This is a bespoke service that is designed exclusively for individuals hosted by London Cuisine which is based in Tower Bridge.
