Simple animation (moving dot on a still picture following a map)

Design details: Hello,
I need to make a simple 'animation' out of a still picture that represents a timeline where an object (a dot, some focus of attention) moves through it following to match the action dictated by the sound in the project (so, when in 01:23, dot needs to be in point A, at 02:35 in point B and so on).
The still image (which I provide) is a map and the animation is for people to follow it according to a soundtrack that is happening (which I provide too) - basically, serves as guide for following the story of a journey told through sound.
The total time running is close to 60 min and during this time, 17 points of this 'map' should be met at precise times.
The animation should also be exported (with sound) into a format easily to embed in websites and social media.

Ideas for the visual style: The design is already made, I just need a dot moving accross a still image at given time intervals. Not much to add on the visual style of a dot :)
