Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
I am a partner in a startup that is going to be introducing a product line of organic snacks to the US Market for the first time in the coming months. We are beginning to prepare our web advertisements ahead of our debut, so I am looking for an animator to make a 15-20 second video for me. Ideally I would like for the animator to be able to provide background music for the video, and voiceover services as well. Voiceover is not as important to me as background music, and I am alright working with an animator who lacks these services if I find a style that I really like.
We are starting with a short, unskippable YouTube ad for now but in the future we will need longer videos made as well as banner advertisements of the hedgehog character. We would like to keep a consistent brand identity in our advertising, so we are looking for a animator that we can use consistently in the future.
The mascot that my brand has chosen is a small hedgehog who camps out in the forest and picks berries that are to be made into our snacks. I have attached three reference images to give you an idea of the direction we want to go with the character, whenever he is not shown being adorable in his campsite he will run on all fours like a regular hedgehog would. Since we are looking for an animator to repeatedly work with in the future, I ask that with your proposal you please recreate one or all of these reference images in your own personal style so that me and my partners may better make a decision on the animator that is best for us. This does not have to be a pinpoint accurate remake, I simply want you to show me your own personal approach to this character.
Me and my partners have been kicking around possible styles, and we have decided we like the sort of "warm" hand-drawn aesthetic of the old Winnie the Pooh movies. I have attached a screen that demonstrates this for reference, but we are open to any style of animation. Please feel free to try to persuade us!
