Experience Level: Expert
Estimated Job duration: Not sure
Information for the business: We are a entertainment company looking for a Digital Host
Industry: Entertainment
Design details: Hi, i have a character from my website (www.theidj.com) - the silver looking robot (which resembles me slightly) that i am looking at having him 3d animated into different poses and facial expressions

We want to turn this character into a digital host for children's parties.

I'm looking for someone who can create a series of poses/ facial animations that we can use to "animate" the speaking of the character. The target audience will be children (and often adults) who we want to look up to the robot character and listen and pay attention as well as take control of a bunch of screaming kids :)
Target audience: children
Ideas for the visual style: robot style
Extra notes: Ideally, i am looking to create a series of video clips with the robot animating so that children will like him. i have built a DJ jukebox application which is to be used at children's parties and i would like this your character to be the host. The DJ jukebox system that we have we want as the digital host (the character), that will be used in a kiosk type setup.

What i'm looking at is the robot poses needs to behave like a childrens entertainer so my intention is to build a series of animated videos that (within a 2 hour kids party period) would incorporate several little clips
initial examples would be:

- the bot introduces himself to the children
- while the children are dancing and having fun, the bot might dance (break dancing style) occasionally
- the bot comes up with random quips like a cheesey kids entertainer would
- the robot might introduce (vocally) dance sequences and songs
- finishes of the party and says good byes to the children

i'm in the early stages and all i have at the moment is a photoshop file with the robot character and my vision.

it doesn't need background animations as mainly it will be the head that will be animated for facial expressions (as he talks) but there needs to be some movement

this video gives you an idea (i am interested in the cuteness of the design for the robot and the dancemoves of just the character itself (not the background or other animation but just the closeups)

Thank you
