Description
An example of the logo carousel can be seen here;
https://www.dragonfly.co.uk/case-studies/
The carousel will consist of 15 logos that will be laid out in a line. The carousel animation should rotate each 2 seconds to reveal a new logo.
All logos will be supplied in high resolution, in PNG format - on transparency.
Output required is 2x video files; one for mobile and one for desktop.
Mobile = 3 logos displayed in a row
Desktop = 6 logos displayed in a row
I'll need the video output to be high resolution with logos on transparency, so the logos can be played in over the top of other content. Video format .mov (H264).
Once the project is finished, I'd like to take a copy of the editable project file.

Could you elaborate on the assignment? In the given example, the carousel is implemented with a WordPress plugin or module, possibly embedded in the template. The logos themselves are presented in separate PNG files with transparency. So they can be rendered correctly on different devices. Large monitors, medium monitors, laptops, tablets, large phones and mini phones. Horizontal phone and vertical phone.
Two types of video file will not be enough. Different types of browsers will most likely not recognize a video file with transparency.
So, if you still want a video file, it better be with a background so that there is no problem with different browsers.Charlie S.11 Apr 2023Hi Boris,
Thanks for your message.
Your observations are spot on and you are correct.
The issue we are having with the logo carousel in Wordpress is its killing our page-load speed.
The javascript required and the calling in of 15 separate PNG's, coupled with teh animation and overlay code is heavy.
We took the carouse off our homepage and the page performs so much better.
The plan we have is to embed the logos into video we already have on page. Check out the homepage of our site for example. There is a video there already, so If we add some animated logos to he exiting video, render out a new version and replace on site - we get the logos on page without any additional page weight and without any additional code.
I understand the limitation will mean we can only use the logo carousel invade banners.
The reason we need it as a separate file on alpha (transparency) is so we can overlay it onto video in Adobe Premiere.
