Description
Experience Level: Entry
Estimated project duration: less than 1 week
I am looking for a motion designer/animator to create a bespoke, elegant 30-second+ "Save the Date" video for my upcoming Indian destination wedding.
Crucial Note up front: I am a designer myself and have an exacting eye for detail. I am looking for luxury, fluid execution—not generic template work. Every asset must be high-resolution, fonts must be beautifully typeset and highly legible, and transitions must feel seamless and organic. Please completely avoid dated design tropes like heavy, muddy drop shadows or harsh, sudden cuts.
I have generated a series of AI style frames (attached) to establish a rough creative direction and color palette. These are strictly for inspiration and style guidance—do not copy them directly. I want your professional expertise to elevate these concepts into a beautifully animated reality.
Technical Specifications
- Format: Vertical Video (9:16 aspect ratio / 1080x1920) optimized for mobile/WhatsApp.
- Duration: 30–35 seconds (must feel paced, breathing room for text).
- Assets Provided: Custom master vector wedding logo (.ai format) and AI style frames.
- Audio: Strictly visual animation execution. No music tracking required.
Scene 1: The Shoreline Reveal (Save the Date)
Visuals: A top-down shot of a white sand beach texture. A hyper-realistic turquoise ocean wave rolls up the screen and recedes.
Animation: As the water washes away, it dynamically reveals the "SAVE THE DATE" typography, subtle gold henna framing elements, and our master logo.
Detail: The revealed elements must feel structurally integrated into the scene (using smart masking/blending), not just slapped on top of a static background. This is the viewer's first impression; it needs ample screen time to be read and admired.
Scene 2: Tropical Paradise (The Journey)
Visuals: An organic transition into a rich, vibrant tropical forest aesthetic with warm, ambient lighting.
Animation: Background elements (palm fronds, hibiscus petals) should feature gentle, subtle environmental movement so the scene feels alive and kinetic, not static.
Detail: The master logo should materialize elegantly, accompanied by a sophisticated, circular golden light sweep, shimmer, or ambient lens flare to highlight it without looking flashy or tacky.
Scene 3: The Sacred Dates
Visuals: Transition to a clean, luxury cream-colored textured background. Fine line-art Indian henna patterns should lightly fade into the background space.
Animation: Two styled vector hands—one male, one female—slide smoothly up from the bottom of the frame. At the apex of their movement, traditional Indian divas (oil lamps) fade in right above them with a warm, realistic candle flicker.
Detail: The hands must distinctly signify an Indian wedding (intricate bridal mehndi and bangles on the woman's wrist; a premium luxury watch on the man's). The text "Please join us on 16th & 17th February 2027" must appear beautifully after the graphics lock into place. Typography must be highly readable and pristine.
Scene 4: Destination & RSVP
Visuals: Transition to a deep, regal Indian maroon textured background accented with gold filigree and geometric henna elements.
Animation: Our logo and final details build elegantly onto the screen.
Typography: The layout must place a large, clear emphasis on "More details to follow soon," balanced beautifully with the venue text ("Shangri-La, Mactan, Cebu, Philippines") and the RSVP callout.
Scene 5: Outro / The Signature
The scene gently dissolves out, leaving our master wedding logo isolated on its own for a clean, premium, branded closing frame.
What I Expect in Your Proposal
- Please do not send generic copy-paste proposals.
- A link to your portfolio showcasing luxury, fashion, or high-end event motion graphics.
- Your specific technical approach to the water-wash reveal in Scene 1 (e.g., After Effects fluid simulation, track matting).
- Confirming your workflow handles Adobe Illustrator vector files flawlessly.
