Dear Potential 3D Modeler:
2/25/2018 There have been minor changes in General Notes, and drawings in zip files have been changed to make them easier to discuss.
I am reviewing proposals, and will be asking questions of the potential modelers this week. Thank you for your patients.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We are in the process of preparing materials to support the sale of a house. We need several sketchup models that show first the current floor plan and configuration of the house, and then 6 additional sketchup models that show 5 different floor plans and one garage modification. I have architecture drawings in PDF format and some preliminary sketchup files, and a set of 6 drawings (delivered as .odg formatted files) showing the floor plan modifications.
These models and views do not require a licensed architect but someone familiar with these types of models would be preferred. I've added some of the sketchup files and .odg files that will form the basis of the work.
Specific requirements:
The goal of the sketchup models is to show how relatively easy it might be to transform the existing building configuration into the configuration shown in each floor plan.
Each example floor plan will be accompanied with an associated sketchup model showing the modification to walls and basic features necessary to accomplish the modification.
These sketchup models will be used by us to show various interior views.
No furniture will be needed to be modeled but standard items such as toilets, showers, water heaters, sinks, windows and doors are required to be shown.
Walls, floors and ceilings are required but external items such as roof and exterior model enhancements are optional for the developer.
The specific sketchup models required are:
• Current floor plan (Both floors) based upon drawings and interior pictures This model is architecturally accurate based upon drawings and pictures.
Others based upon Current floor plan:
1. Duplex First and Second Floor
2. Garage
3. Master Bath Second Floor
4. Quad First And Second Floor
5. Single Family First And Second Floor
6. Triplex First and Second Floor
General Notes on floor plans:
◦ For all “.odt” files, black lines indicate existing walls and/or fixtures …
◦ Blue lines indicate the changes to the current floor plan that are required
◦ Labels that are in the floor plans should be added to the model
◦ Any notes attached to the floor plans should be added to the model in an appropriate location.
◦ Each “.odt” floor plan is modeled in its own house model. For any floor plan if both floors are indicated then both floors need to be modeled in the same sketchup model.
◦ The small apartment on the ground floor has a similar floor plan to the “Parent’s Quarters” located on the second floor although it is not shown in the drawing “FirstFloor.PDF”. The house sketchup model must show this.
◦ The modifications to the house indicated in the “SecondFloorModifications.PDF” should be made to the second floor sketchup model.
