Description
Experience Level: Expert
Project Jokai #7 is a three-story building plus the attic. Each level has four studios and the attic has two studios, one electrical room, and one storage room. I designed this project to function as a weekly hotel and the entire parking lot is equipped with Level 2 EV charging stations. The power plant was designed to be capable to pump constantly into the grid 80kW. This power plant is a modular power plant in order to have the capacity to adapt to the rules and regulations of the local electric company and to the local authority. Therefore this power plant has four modules of 20kW each. Each module has two systems. The first system has an FX-20kW 220V vertical axis wind turbine, a 20kW on grid controller, and a 20kW on grid inverter. The second system has triple the capacity of the first system and has three FX-20kW 48V vertical axis wind turbines, three 20kW hybrid controllers which are charging a 60kW home battery, and each module of the second system has connected to the home battery a 20kW off grid inverter which is feeding the on grid controller from the first system when the speed of wind is below 10m/s. When there is not wind and sun enough to keep the home batteries charged then a 20kW Generac generator is kicking in for each module and is feeding the on grid controller to keep the module pumping constantly 20kW into the grid. We know that the consumption from the grid varies based on the time of day and based on the weather. We also know that based on the location the grid has different capacity (different transformers) to absorb power from the electrical producers. My modular power plant is designed to have the capacity to communicate with the grid and to connect to the grid each module individually based on how much power the grid needs at that time. The roof is covered with solar shingles and is also charging the home batteries for each module.
Please find attached Level 1, Level 2, and the East Elevation. I would like to have Project Jokai #7 executed in 3D electronic support.
