Estimated project duration: 1 day or less
I have a pre-existing Blender project that has some component models in it that I use to build up more detailed models from the core kit.
Each of the components is built up based around a specific 1x1 core component.
So I was wondering if there was a way to tweak my project's grid so that it is based around the dimensions of my 1x1 core component and then use snap to grid/absolute grid alignment? This would allow for faster construction as most of the time is spent currently meticulously aligning the components to build up the larger model
Once the grid was set and snapping nicely, this job would also involve tweaking the anchor/pivot point of each model/component so each part aligns correctly. There are 20 components to tweak including the core 1x1
