Design a specialist adhesive tape applicator and create CAD drawings

We are looking for an engineer to develop a concept into a physical product and then create drawings for a patent. Project will be under NDA and all IP owned by Tecman. Details as follows;

Application: 1000mm wide exhibition carpet with 50mm double sided adhesive tape down one edge is overlapped onto an adjacent piece of carpet and stuck in place using the adhesive tape. Current 3 person process involves Person 1. aligning carpet roll and unwinding, Person 2. removing the release liner from between the two layers of carpet, Person 3. applying pressure to the bond line after the carpet has come together.

Objective: Develop a small piece of lightweight manual equipment which aligns the carpet, unrolls it, and then applies a defined pressure to the top and bottom of the adhesive tape area. To be operated by 1 person.
