Description
Experience Level: Expert
Estimated project duration: 1 - 2 weeks
We are replacing the glass roof conservatory (east facing) on the back of our cottage. The new build will cover the same footprint, no changes to flooring or access points. All currently glazed elements (upvc) will be replaced with either aluminium, wood or a combination of the two.
We like the gable end join to the old house and wish to keep it.
We want to swap the glass roof for a solid roof with some opening roof lights.
We are also thinking of making the left hand side a part glazed gable end, to match the other end and bring in more light.
Considering replacing the two french doors to the garden with three bi-fold doors. A small dwarf wall (as currently) on either side of the bi-folds. Not sure whether to keep opening lights (windows) in addition?
We are having difficulty visualising what this will look like on our Cottage and would like some help. Will it look ok, in keeping? We would like up to five (max) 3D full colour drawings with different options, including colour of frames and window configurations.
Photos of the property and existing structure attached. Also attached are drawings/dimensions of existing structure. Once we have chosen a designer I can send more pics. Thanks.
