I am looking for someone to offer a range (2-4) of possible workflows for manipulating mesh geometry using 3ds MAX and/or ZBrush Core.
The starting point is a STL file of a chess piece Knight (attached). I am seeking someone to devise various approaches to modifying and manipulating a mesh model into new configurations. (e.g. a writhing horse head with gaping mouth).
The expected output is twofold:
1. a set of completed files in MAX and/or ZBrush based on the provided geometry (STL) file.
2. a written step-by-step guide that as casual user of 3ds MAX and/or ZBrush can follow and apply to different 3d mesh models. In essence a tutorial in written form and associated 3ds MAX / ZBrush files.
I have 3ds MAX and ZBrush Core. My aim is to source a basic solution for the provided STL file, which can then be replicated on other geometry files.
In responding please outline some possible approaches you may provide as solutions (e.g. morph targets, vertex paint, etc that involves 3ds MAX and/or ZBrush..
