I have a Unity project mid completion. Unfortunately the current creator is unable to continue. The task is to produce a scriptable 3d demo based on a boxing match. An XML script should be able to interface with the Unity display indicating what type of boxer model is displayed, what their colours are and what animations to play. Sounds will also play as appropriate.
Elements provided.:
- Boned/Rigged Boxer Model
- 3D Ring Stage with materials.
- Set of boxing animations. (30 approx)
- Boxing audio files. (20 approx)
The following work is required:
1. The editing of the boxer model to create a new Amateur Boxer model.
The original model is to be modified so that the boxer appears to wear an amateur boxing headguard & Vest. Examples can be found online. The models headguard should be match the material/colour used for the original models shorts and the Vest should match the shorts trim materials.
2. The creation of 8 short .fbx boxer 'taking a punch' animations.
The motion should be minor not extreme, I.e. the boxers head or body moving back/left/right slightly as if taking a punch from another boxer.
1. A straight punch (jab) to the face.
2. A left sided punch (hook) to the face.
3. A right sided punch (hook) to the face.
4. A punch to the face from under the chin (uppercut)
5. A straight punch to the body.
6. A left sided punch (hook) to the body.
7. A right sided punch (hook) to the body.
8. A low blow punch to the groin.
An 'idle' .fbx animation of a boxer 'in stance' (left foot and left hand forward) will be provided. This can be used as a starting point for the animations.
3. The mirroring (reversal) of animations.
This will change the animation from that of a boxer with left foot and left glove forward to a boxer with right foot and right glove forward. Southpaw. The output of animations are to be supplied in .fbx format creating a total set of original and mirrored animations.
4. Unity Staging.
Creation of a Unity 3d display which shows two boxers in a boxing ring. The build is to use a system which allows for an XML feed to be used to indicate the type of boxer model to display (amateur or professional) what R/G/B colour value they are (skin, gloves, shorts, shorts trim, boots) and a script of animations for the boxers to enact in the ring. The audio files are to be integrated into the display so there is a background ambience track and sounds played as appropriate with the animations.
The Unity display should be able to integrate seemlessly into a VB.Net solution. All source files are to be provided to close the project.
