This is a 4 minute animation for a court of law case. Dimensions are real world accurate and need to be accuracy in tracing bullet paths. The animation does involve one nude figure and three other individuals. Measurements have already been recorded. Here is the challenge with this project. A lot of work has already been started by another artist and I want to set up the bullet paths in this existing project (Maya 2016). I'm a novice at Maya but understand software well. The existing characters are not holding their positions for animation. I don't know if it is my own mistakes that are causing the dis-function or the original artist didn't set up the project well. The bullet paths and human interaction are complex and I don't see that information being communicated easily. I am imagining a skilled artist connecting to my desktop and working through debugging Maya failures, and then I would do the final animation on bullet paths.
Factual evidence needs to be worked into the animation. Security video has the sound of the shots being fired. I'm imagining a sound wave animation being displayed to show the precise timing correlating to the animation.
The main action happens in one second and to cover the details I would like to see a slow motion cut away for this part.
I have a total budget of $300 US.
I'm in the Mountain time zone (Denver USA) and would want to connect at 5:00pm-11:00pm on week days, and flexible daytime hours on weekends. Not all the work would have to be remote desktop, but I want to understand where the Maya's problems are coming from. I'll be working on the project Feb 2, 2019 and Feb 3, 2019. I know that is a quick response time.
