Description
Experience Level: Entry
It is hard to imagine breakfasts, social gatherings, business meetings, negotiations for carpets in the Grand Bazaar, or ferry rides across the Bosphorus in Turkey without the presence of tea. With tea servers in streets, shopping malls, and parks shouting, “ÇAY!” (chai) the beverage is always within shouting distance. It is fundamental to Turkish social life and plays a large role in Turkey’s domestic economy.
The expectations;
- It should has a plain surface (so that later on some additional work can be done like grawing or cutting)
- It can be in a modern or classical concept, or might have traces of both in the same body.
- The mouth diameter should not be too narrow, people dont like it.
- Bottom center diameter should be max around 57mm and not bigger then that because the saucers / ceramic plates are mostly produced with such bottom diameter.
- The shape ideas should be different then the shapes produced by the brands Pasabahce & Lav, one of the biggest glassware producers in the world. So these two brands can be investigated to prevent having same shape with one of these brands.
The attached pictures and shapes are the tea glasses that sell so much in Turkey and liked by the people. It is attached to give an idea, not to make the same. To have a vision, to design a better style with a new approach. But it is important to know what is hot selling at the moment. That is why the reference pictures are attached.
