Description
Experience Level: Entry
I need someone that can sew.
In a nutshell, I'm keen to transform a handful of old football shirts from the Sunday League football team I play for, into tote bags.
Our manager is finishing playing this season (and can no longer fit in any of the old shirts) anyway, so I thought these would be an excellent gift for him.
Sort of like this, though this example is not made from a proper shirt > https://www.google.com/search?q=football+shirt+tote+bag&rlz=1CAIRZH_enGB886GB886&sxsrf=ALeKk03MRP-sypNaQlMlRSE1N_fP6EnGrQ:1591107871659&tbm=isch&source=iu&ictx=1&fir=o9rtIk9CTpBOKM%253A%252Ce9vtYACeE8uE7M%252C_&vet=1&usg=AI4_-kTby23mRzMPqz0NFJ9WWlTz4iCftw&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiC-_TbquPpAhWWUhUIHdkYCj8Q9QEwBHoECAoQHw#imgrc=o9rtIk9CTpBOKM:
I know absolutely nothing about sewing - but was hoping the above is doable? I found a few examples of how to do this on YouTube without the need for sewing - but all the techniques revealed required me to cut too deep into the neck of the shirt and therefore sacrifice the club badge etc.
Essentially you would only need the material from the shirt to create the bag.
Thanks, Josh
