Create a Wordpress template

Hi

Im looking to create a Wordpress blog which will be used to showcase my wifes Vegan recipes and posts.
Key features will be:
All the social icons (facebook likes etc, rss, twitter, follow)
Customiseable slideshow header (i.e. we can choose which photos we want)
Thumbnail categories
If possible, when posting images along with texts (i.e. a meal and a recipe) a slideshow of 1-3 images for the actual post)
Further, the text, fields etc will need to be changed to Hebrew (happy for the base template to be in English so long as we can edit the fields later).
