Cover Letters to edit and proof read

Hello,

I was wondering if you could proof read and edit the two cover letters attached here.

I would be willing to offer £30 for both letters.

One of them is aimed at introducing myself to the US Ambasador in Vienna to try to network with the US Mission to the United Nations. With a lot of positions at the UN, it is very useful to have the backing of your relevant country's mission. Ideally, I would want the US Ambasador to recommend someone at their mission that I would be able to speak to. This letter I want would to have it sound quite formal.

The second letter is a response to a job advert at Vienna University for a PhD / teaching position. The advert can be accessed here:
