Project Manager for small web and AI team

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, highly reliable Project Manager (remote and contract-based) to take over daily PM tasks for our custom web and AI development team. Our business needs your guidance so our leadership can focus on generating new sales and opportunities. You’ll play a pivotal role in driving successful project outcomes by coordinating between clients and developers.

Key Responsibilities
Take ownership of project management tasks, allowing the CEO to focus on acquiring new clients and projects.

Oversee and coordinate our development team, who work from 6am to 3pm UK time.

Be regularly available at the start of the UK working day to set priorities and address issues.

Serve as the main point of contact for clients: conduct calls/phone/video, and email communications in a clear, non-technical manner.

Communicate technical instructions, requirements, and feedback to developers.

Ensure all deliverables are fully tested before release to clients.

Anticipate and help resolve issues or blocks that might delay progress.

Motivate developers and ensure deadlines and quality standards are consistently achieved.

Requirements
Excellent written and verbal English skills (mandatory).

Proven experience managing custom web and AI development projects.

Outstanding work ethic, reliability, and proactive attitude.

Previous remote team management experience preferred.

Client-focused and able to translate technical language into easy-to-understand explanations.

Confident working with tools such as email, video calls, github, hosting systems, PM platforms etc.

Ability to build team morale and keep developers on track.

Available for 4 to 6 hours per day (with potential to go full-time, for the right candidate).

Working Hours
Your availability should strongly overlap with our team’s start time at 6am UK time.

Flexibility to extend hours as the company grows.
