General information for the business: Free Hospital/Free Clinic for Poor People in Pakistan
Industry: Healthcare
Research needed: no
Chapters needed: Charitable Company to run a free hospital/clinic in Pakistan
Information to be included in each chapter: we want to register a charitable organisation in the UK which will run a free hospital and free mobile clinics for the underprivileged and poor people living in rural areas of Pakistan and who can not afford very expensive treatment. The purpose of the charitable organisation is to appoint local qualified doctors who will run the free hospital and operate free mobile clinics. Our objective is to provide free health services and free medicines for poor and needy people in Pakistan.
To register a Charitable Organisation, The Charity Commission has asked us to provide a detailed Business Plan to outline the full project, its objectives etc.
Please note two of the trustees are qualified doctors who work in the UK and once the project is up and running, they will plan free clinics every 3 months on at least quarterly basis.
‘To relieve sickness and poor health among the people living in rural area of Pakistan by providing free medical consultation and free medicines.
“charity is set up to operate a clinic where people who are unable to pay fees for treatment get a free medical consultation and free medicines.”
This is clearly a significant under-taking. However, the trustees have to still only provided an outline of the work they carry out.
We need a business plan in detail ‘how’ the purpose is carried out for the public benefit.
This should include how it will be funded; timescales for completion of the clinic; who will be employed and the level of qualification required; how work overseas will be monitored; how risks of working overseas will be managed; what level of access the public will have; how decisions will be made regarding the allocation of resources; whether partner agencies will be used, and if so, how; and how the trustees will measure the impact of their work to ensure furthering charitable purpose.

Hi Muhammad
Yes, this is clearly a significant and worthwhile venture. I have many questions that need to be answered before I would consider taking on this project. As a start may I ask; have you figures prepared or is preparing a set of figures part of the brief?
Please feel free to question me.
