Part-Time HR Advisor / Lead / Specialist / Manager
Location: Edinburgh or remote
Reporting to: Managing Director
Hours: up to 20 hours per week (2–3 days, flexible)
Role Overview
This is a hands-on, commercially focused HR role supporting Cashel Travel Group’s UK &
Ireland operations
The position provides operational HR leadership while working alongside retained HR and
employment law advisers. It is not a standalone Head of HR role, but combines day-to-day
HR delivery with selective strategic input
Core Responsibilities
1. Operational HR Advisory
Provide practical HR guidance to Directors and line managers
Support performance, absence, conduct, and grievance matters
Prepare documentation and attend formal meetings as required
2. Policy, Compliance & Governance
Maintain and update HR policies & ensure consistent application across Group
entities
3. Recruitment, Onboarding & Employee Experience
4. Employee Relations & Culture
Act as trusted internal advisor to managers & provide confidential employee support
5. Systems & Process Improvement
Improve HR processes and reporting (absence, turnover, disciplinaries)
6. Training, Performance & Development
7. Remuneration, Benchmarking & Benefits
8. Contractor & Workforce Oversight
